Kliq is an innovative and inclusive wallet application designed to empower people who face barriers in accessing traditional financial services. Built with a deep understanding of the challenges foreign residents, newcomers, and temporary workers often encounter—such as difficulties opening a bank account, navigating unfamiliar financial systems, or managing payments without local credentials—Kliq serves as a practical and user-friendly financial companion. At its core, Kliq aims to remove friction from everyday financial interactions. Instead of forcing users to adapt to rigid banking processes, the app adapts to the user. Its thoughtful design focuses heavily on personalisation, allowing each individual to tailor the interface, shortcuts, and features according to their needs. Whether someone wants a simplified overview of their spending, quick access to frequently used actions, or a more detailed financial breakdown, Kliq provides an intuitive experience that feels comfortable from the very first use.

Ease of use is one of Kliq’s defining principles. The interface is clean, modern, and developed with accessibility in mind. Buttons, navigation patterns, and user flows are carefully crafted to minimise effort—especially for people who may not be fluent in the local language or may be unfamiliar with digital financial tools. From quick onboarding to clear transaction history, Kliq ensures that essential information is always within reach and never buried under complex menus.

Beyond convenience, Kliq places a strong emphasis on inclusivity and financial independence. By giving users an alternative way to send, receive, and manage money securely, it offers a sense of stability in moments when traditional banking options are out of reach. For newcomers starting their life in a new country, this support can make a meaningful difference—allowing them to pay bills, shop online, transfer funds, or simply manage their finances without stress.

Security and trust are built into every layer of the application. Kliq employs strong encryption practices, transparent data handling policies, and seamless verification processes to protect users’ information. This gives individuals peace of mind, especially those who might already feel vulnerable due to uncertainty around residency, documentation, or financial status.

Ultimately, Kliq isn’t just a wallet—it’s a bridge. A bridge between people and the financial systems they need access to. A bridge between unfamiliar environments and a sense of control. And a bridge between complex processes and simple, empowering user experiences.

Leadership and Collaboration:

Result

I led the team in giving the interface a fresh, modern look—something fun, clean, and still in line with today’s UI trends. Working closely with the team was a huge part of making this happen; we constantly shared ideas, refined details together, and supported one another throughout the process.

As the Lead Designer, I also put a lot of effort into building a clear atomic design system and preparing developer-friendly files so the handoff would feel smooth rather than overwhelming.

In the end, we created something we’re genuinely proud of: an easy, modern, and enjoyable user experience that feels good to interact with and sets a solid foundation for the future.
